Drawing inspiration from 싸다 (Ssa-da), the practice of wrapping, this luminaire encapsulates the harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. By intertwining contrasting materials and forms, it evokes the essence of wrapping, echoing the rituals of Ssam, wrapping food into one bite. Additionally, the universal experience of seeking protection from the cold is reminiscent of Bojagi, a traditional cloth used to bundle up valuable objects. Inspired by the human body, the aluminum mesh and light bulbs are enveloped by organic folds, contrasting the precious and the protection. Through the warm cream hues and embracing designs, this luminaire invites users to experience the embrace of tradition in contemporary content.
